Fiber Rich Foods!

A healthy colon means a healthy intake of fiber. If you’re worried about your loved one’s fiber intake, giving them foods that are rich in fiber can help to cut down on constant supplement use.

A few veggies include split peas, lentils and black beans. Each of these include more than 14 grams of fiber per cup when cooked.

Fruits like pears, blackberries and raspberries all have more than 5 grams of fiber per cup or peace of fruit.

Want a snack? Bran flakes have about 7 grams of fiber per cup.

Fiber is essential to colon health and there are all kinds of ways you can include great bits of it into a diet!
